To become licensed as a General Contractor you must take the NASCLA Accredited exam and the Alabama Business & Law exam, both through PSI. Applicants can apply for approval online at ned.nascla.org. Once approved, the individual’s name will be forwarded from NASCLA to PSI. PSI will then send the applicant an email with information about how to schedule their exam.
